Richard
Roulstone
Born - 13th November 1796, Netherseal, Leicestershire, England
Died - 27 May 1872 Bramcote, Nottinghamshire, England.
Richards occupation on Johns birth certificate and census
reports, was as a gardener for the Rev. John Webb Edge,
who's family owned Strelley
Hall.
It is thought that the reason Richard moved from Netherseal
to Strelley, is due to the Edge family having
connections to nearby Overseal. Richards son John, later
worked for James Thomas Edge who was born in Overseal circa.
1828. Between 1844 and 1851 Richard and his family moved
to Bramcote, Notts. Richard worked as a gardener most probably
in the village. On the 1851 census Richards place of birth
is shown to be Netherseal in Leicestershire.1841
census ,
1871 census ,
Richard died in Bramcote Nottinghamshire in 1872 of old
age. His son, Richard Roulstone was present at his death.Death
