From Victor John Roulstone's Birth
Certificate, it can be seen that he was born in Wortley,
the same village which his parents, John and Mary Roulstone
are burried. Victor John Roulstone and Edith Wallace met during
one of Ediths visits to Lord Wharncliffes estate in Wortley,
where Victors father John Roulstone Worked. Victor John Roulstone
was married
to Ethel Elizabeth Wallace in the Parish Church, Oldbury in
the County of Worcester. Victor was a 30 year old batchelor,
electrical engineer on the London & Great Central Railway

Edith
Elizabeth Wallace
(Born December 9th 1883 - Died July 1st 1963)
From her early teens until marriage, Edith Wallace worked
for Lord and Lady Douglas Pennant, residing at Penrhyn Castle
in North Wales. She was employed as a nanny to their children,
Alan, Hugh, Pamela and Sybil. Ethel later named her own children,
Alan and Sybil after the Pennant's children.
Notes
Sybil Roulstone died in the Flu epidemic of
1918, she was probably 8 years old. The above photograph
was taken around 1911.
