This family group photograph was probably taken in the grounds of Wortley Hall. The little girl in the checked dress is Vida so would have been taken about 1890. The other child must be Mabel. John and Mary are either side of the girl in the middle. The two older girls in matching hats and jackets may be the older daughters Mary (she was known as May) and Florrie.
