Ruth Cotton appeared to be the daughter of John Cotton and Hannah (Davenport) who were married in Monks Kirby 10.12.1783,.
Ruth was bapt. at Walsgrave on Sowe 12.04.1795, although that needs checking. The Monks Kirby link is very feasible... MK was linked with Foleshill in many ways at that time.
