the old CRAWFORD CASTLE we lost due to we try to over turn the king!
it was burn and the queen took the land! The castle was abandoned in the 18th century due to this and this is where she got our stuff also from crawford library! the the 26th Earl of Crawford took off in the night so the queen of u.k. would not kill him!

ok not the black sheep for crawford! in the 1700's there was no blacks
with the crawford name NO WHERE! where did the crawford name come from then , well one of the crawford brouther had a slave farm!
the slaves was given the crawford name so when thay was out in town and etc any one who ask knows it was our slaves are then when the war was over some of the black keep the last name due to it was the only last name thay ever had, that when the black race got the name! sad but true! there is a line just for them on a home page i found with the info of this and how keep them and etc!

I in fact know a black crawford i must say we sit down one day and we did track him to the farm! but i must say he is a med doc and i am very happy he is apart of me and my wifes life and pass! i just fell bad how he got our last name!

one i know has a line in n.c. in fact(North Wilkesboro, Wilkes, NC)
is where one was the 2nd was in Pennsylvania in (you got it) crawford co Pennsylvania! ha ha no joke! the 3rd i dont know and the 4th is lost also! the 4th i feel had the farm in the 1700.
