Can anyone help me trace the origins of my 4g grandfather George Rowlinston who married Hannah Buckham 21 Dec 1773 at Marston upon dove.

They had 4 children baptised at Marston upon Dove with the surname varying from Rolliston,Roliston and Roleston.

I'm descended from their youngest son John(b.1781) who spelt his name Rowliston when he married Sarah Blake at Shirley, Derbyshire in 1802. John's children were baptised at Longford with the surname varying from Rowliston, Roliston, Rawlinson and Rowlinson. It is this final spelling which has come down to modern times.

I would guess that George was born c.1750 but where?
