Hi!
I am wanting to add to an extensive pedigree lineage my great, great uncle completed in 1935. (he has the Rolston family tree going back to the 1200's with the following spellings: derolleston, rolleston, rollston and Rolston) At this point, I have information that one brother of the Rolston family from Armagh co emigrated to the east coast of canada in the mid 1870's. this would have been my great, great granddad, his wife and kids. My great granddad was named David Dermott Rolston (also spelled Rollston in the 1901 canadian census)
The book has some notations of two houses - one of James and one of William with the lineages.
so, with this info I give you, is there a link between your search and my own?
Can you add any info on this? I also understand there is a castle that was once part of the Rolleston family? The book notes it as "Castle of Dublin something Secage) any help on this item?
